ความเป็นมาของหลักสูตรอบรม Functional Nutrition

IFNW Center ได้รับเกียรติเป็นอย่างสูงในความร่วมมือในการจัดหลักสูตรอบรมอย่างเป็นทางการกับ The Functional Food Center (FFC) และ The Functional Food Institute (FFI) ตั้งอยู่ที่มลรัฐTexas ประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกานับตั้งแต่ส.ค. 2559 เป็นต้นไป     The Functional Food Center (www.functionalfoodscenter.net) ก่อตั้งตั้งแต่ปี1998 โดยเป็นองค์กรของประเทศอเมริกาที่รวมนักวิทยาศาสตร์ที่ทำวิจัยเกี่ยวข้องกับ ทางด้านFunctional Food เป็นอันดับต้นๆของประเทศ  

ในปี2004 ได้จัดตั้งสถาบันFunctional Food Institute ขึ้นภายใต้Functional Food Center ซึ่งเป็นองค์กรชั้นนำที่รวบรวมความรู้ด้าน  Functional Food ในโรคต่างๆเช่นหัวใจและหลอดเลือด, มะเร็ง, อ้วนเป็นต้นและได้จัดทำวารสารทางวิชาการ "The Journal of Functional Food in Health and Disease" โดยอยู่ในฐานข้อมูลทางวิชาการที่มีImpact Factor เป็นที่ยอมรับในระดับนานาชาติอย่างสูง

Functional Food Center ได้มีการจัดประชุมวิชาการใหญ่เป็นประจำทุกปี   โดยที่ผ่านมาFFC ได้จัดประชุมร่วมกับมหาวิทยาลัยระดับชั้นนำของโลกอาทิเช่น Harvard University, University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), Texas Women’s University(เมืองเดนตัน, มลรัฐเท็กซัส), Kyoto Prefectural University (กรุงเกียวโต, ประเทศญี่ปุ่น),University of California (เมืองซานตาบาร์บารา, มลรัฐแคลิฟอร์เนีย), Southern Methodist University (เมืองดัลลัส, มลรัฐเท็กซัส), Southern University Agricultural Research & Extension Center (เมืองBaton Rouge, มลรัฐหลุยเซียน่า), University of San Diego (เมืองซานดิเอโก,รัฐแคลิฟอร์เนีย) และ University of Nevada (เมืองลาสเวกัส, มลรัฐเนวาดา)

โดย Functional Food Center มีคณะกรรมการปรึกษากิตติมศักดิ์ผู้ทรงเกียรติในระดับศาสตราจารย์จาก มหาวิทยาลัยชั้นนำต่างๆทั่วโลกเช่นเดียวกัน

ในตอนนี้ Functional Food Center ได้ให้เกียรติร่วมมือกับ IFNW Center ในการจัดคอร์สอบรม Functional Nutrition โดยในเนื้อหาในการอบรมจะอ้างอิงตามหนังสือ Functional Foods for Chronic Diseases ของ Functional Food Center โดยIFNW Center ได้รับเกียรติในการร่วมแต่งตำราดังกล่าวด้วย หลังจากผ่านการอบรม  ผู้อบรมจะได้รับประกาศนียบัตรร่วมกันระหว่าง Functional Food Center, Texas, USA และ IFNW Center   โดยเนื้อหาการอบรมในครั้งนี้จะครอบคลุมนิยามด้าน Functional Foods, Functional Foods สำหรับกลุ่มปัญหาสุขภาพและโรคสำคัญต่างๆ  รวมถึงกลุ่มโรคไม่ติดต่อเรื้อรัง (์NCDs) ที่สำคัญ 

*   ได้รับข่าวสารประชาสัมพันธ์ และข่าวสารงานประชุมวิชาการประจำปีอย่างต่อเนื่อง

*    สามารถเข้าถึงฐานข้อมูลงานวิจัยออนไลน์อัพเดตล่าสุด ทาง "The Journals of Functional Foods in Health & Diseases" (FFHD) ซึ่งมีทีมบอร์ดบรรณาธิการนักวิชาการจากมหาวิทยาลัยชื่อดังกว่า 26 ท่านทั่วโลก    มีจำนวนผู้ติดตามกว่า 450,000 ท่าน ในสาขาวิชาชีพต่างๆ อาทิเช่น นักวิทยาศาสตร์ แพทย์ นักกำหนดอาหาร และ นักโภชนาการ เป็นต้น

*    ได้รับส่วนลดในงานประชุมวิชาการที่จัดโดย FFC ทั่วโลก

*    ได้รับเกียรติเป็นสมาชิกในฐานข้อมูล FFC

*    ผู้ผ่านการอบรมจะได้รับประกาศนียบัตรจากทาง Functional Food Center, Texas, USA  ร่วมกับ IFNW Center   ในรูปแบบ E- Certificate 

คอร์สอบรม:           Integrative Functional Nutrition (Module 2) รุ่น 6

กำหนดการอบรม:  เต็มวันทุกวันอาทิตย์  เป็นจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 6 สัปดาห์  

ค่าอบรม:               36,900 บาท*  (ลดราคาพิเศษ จากราคาปกติ 42,000 บาท)

Since 1998, The Functional Food Center (FFC) has been a pioneer in functional food industry, combining cutting-edge expertise in the biomedical sciences with practical business experience in order to aid in further research, development, and commercialization of functional food innovations in both domestic and international markets. The FFC connects a global network of professionals (scientists, functional food experts, and food industry representatives) to an environment conducive to innovative research collaboration. Functional foods are part of a normal dietary food intake for optimized nutrition. The Functional Food Center defines “functional foods” as “Natural or processed foods that contains known or unknown biologically-active compounds; which, in defined, effective non-toxic amounts, provide a clinically proven and documented health benefit for the prevention, management, or treatment of chronic disease”. 

Since 2004, the FFC/Functional Food Institute has organized conferences where scientists, researchers, and food industry professionals present their research and discoveries about functional foods and bioactive compounds for the management of chronic diseases such as diabetes, CVD, obesity, cancer, etc. In the past, the FFC has organized conferences jointly with top level universities such as Harvard University, the University of California (Los Angeles, California), Texas Women’s University (Denton, Texas), Kyoto Prefectural University (Kyoto, Japan), University of California (Santa Barbara, California), Southern Methodist University (Dallas, Texas), Southern University Agricultural Research and Extension Center (Baton Rouge, Louisiana), University of San Diego (San Diego, California), and the University of Nevada (Las Vegas, Nevada).

Scientific Panel of the Functional Food Center

The Functional Food Center (FFC) Scientific Advisory Panel (SAP) was created on October 28, 1998. The Panel has been reestablished to the International Scientific Advisory Panel (ISAP) on February 12, 2004. Members of ISAP are scientists with sufficient professional qualifications (including training and experience) to provide expert comments about the impact on Functional Food Products and Non-Traditional Plants. Members are selected from areas such as biology, pharmacology, biotechnology, biochemistry, biophysics, physiology, pathology, toxicology, and related sciences. The ISAP is comprised of 9 core members internationally recognized as scientific leaders in the field of functional food products and chronic diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, cancer, diabetes, and obesity. The Panel will assist in identifying relevant practices and research, and provide guidance on the scientific integrity of all functional food products.

The International Scientific Advisory Panel established a Science Review Board (SRB), consisting of at least 30 scientists who will be available to the Scientific Advisory Panel to assist in reviews conducted by the Panel.
